A 8-bit DPWM-based Analog Bypass Circuit and System for LED Matrix Headlamp in High-Voltage 180-nm CMOS Technology

This paper introduces a LED driver circuit and system that can bypass maximum 1A with 8-bit Digital Pulse Width Modulation (DPWM) generator. The proposed system is designed with TSMC High-Voltage CMOS technology. The system is divided into two parts. First, topology of LED Matrix system is introduced. Next, the analog bypass circuit which is designed based on gate driver circuit is dealt in this paper. The proposed system controls luminosity of 8 LEDs by 256 steps. The result of post-simulation is presented.
