초록

A technique which combines the fabrication and patterning of films 1-mu-m in thickness of the high T(c) superconducting Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2Oy has been developed. Patterns are generated directly on the Sr-Ca-Cu-O (Sr:Ca:Cu = 2:2:4) ceramic substrate using thermal evaporation of metallic bismuth through a mask followed by heat treatment at 830-degrees-C for 1 minute in air. Resistivity measurements for a patterned film show an onset to the superconducting state occurring at 85 K with zero resistivity at 79 K.
