Supply Chain Orientation in Small and Medium Enterprises: Supply Chain Collaboration and Logistics Efficiency in Korean Firms

Even with the importance of the SCO, there is not much of empirical investigation of the SCO and its effect on SCM, specifically for SMEs. Thus, using the SCO as a theoretical lens, we seek to answer what enables efficient SCM in SMEs in the supply-side. he contributions of the current research are three folds. First, The research studies the SCO concept and finds key factors to explain it. Second, the research examines the role of the SCO in SCM, which is enabling inter-organizational collaboration for process integration between supply chain partners. Third, the research observes SMEs’ perspective of the SCO for developing relevant tangible/intangible SCM resources.
