A Study on the Academic Stress, Depression, and Self-Control of Adolescents: Multigroup Analysis of Game Immersion and General Adolescents

초록

This study aims to analyze the effects of depression on academic stress and self-control relationships by separating game immersion adolescents and general adolescents and to identify differences. To this end, 83 cases of game immersion group and 143 cases of general group were extracted using the 10th data of the game user panel, and analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. Studies have shown that in both groups, academic stress has a relationship between self-contro, academic stress and depression have a static relationship, and depression and self-control have an inadequate relationship. As a result of the structural equation latent mean analysis to look at the differences between groups, academic stress was the main mechanism for reducing self-control, and depression had a greater impact on game immersion group adolescents. Based on this, it was suggested that teenagers who are experiencing depression amid the COVID-19 crisis should have different policy responses to ease games immersion.
