수령의 인간화: 김정은 시대의 수령관 - ‘신격’화된 수령에서 ‘인민’ 속의 수령으로
초록
This study analyzes the evolving nature of the Suryong system in North Korea, focusing on the transition from deification to the humanization of the Suryong in the Kim Jong-un era. Historically, the Suryong was established as a sacrosanct, god-like entity that reigned over the populace. However, Kim Jong-un has initiated a significant departure from this tradition by pursuing a policy of demystification. By stripping away the supernatural aura of the leadership, the regime now emphasizes the leader’s inminseong (pro-people character) and his proximity to the masses. This shift is deeply rooted in the ‘People-First Doctrine’, which redefines the leader’s role as a “humanized” figure integrated within the collective. This transition from a deified ruler to a relational leader implies a fundamental change in the interaction between the state and society, offering critical insights into the future trajectory of the North Korean system.
