‘있다’의 의미 특성과 품사, 그리고 활용

초록

This study is aimed at investigating the semantic property and parts of speech of a verb ‘issda’ based on the conjugational property of it. A verb ‘issda’ conjugates not only like a state verb, but also like an action verb. This is because its meaning is different according to the context. A main verb ‘issda’ is related to the meaning ‘the existence’. A main verb ‘issda’ as a state verb means ‘the existence as a state’, but a main verb ‘issda’ as an action verb means ‘the existence as an act’. An auxiliary verb ‘(-eo) issda’ is related to the meaning ‘the resultant state of an act’. An auxiliary verb ‘(-eo) issda’ as a state verb means ‘the state that the resultant state of an act is maintained’, but an auxiliary verb ‘(-eo) issda’ as an action verb means ‘the act to maintain the resultant state of an act’. And the meaning of an auxiliary verb ‘(-go) issda’ is related to the meaning ‘the progress’. An auxiliary verb ‘(-go) issda’ as a state verb means ‘the progress as a state’, but an auxiliary verb ‘(-go) issda’ as an action verb means ‘the progress as an act’.
