부모의 심리적 통제가 전위공격성에 미치는 영향: 내현적 자기애와 적대적 귀인편향의 매개효과

초록

This study examined the effect of parental psychological control on displaced aggression and the mediating roles of covert narcissism and hostile attribution bias. Data were collected via an online survey from a total of 390 university students in South Korea, aged 18 to 29. The results of the study are as follows. First, parental psychological control, covert narcissism, hostile attribution bias, and displaced aggression were all significantly and positively correlated. Second, parental psychological control had an indirect influence on displaced aggression through covert narcissism, but the mediating path through hostile attribution bias was not significant. Third, parental psychological control had a significant effect on displaced aggression through the sequential mediation of covert narcissism and hostile attribution bias. These findings suggest that parental psychological control sequentially increases covert narcissism and hostile attribution bias in ambiguous social situations, which in turn results in increased displaced aggression. Strengths and limitations of the current findings, as well as the implications for counseling and future investigations are included in the discussion.
