This paper reports a high flux ionic diode, which is achieved by using asymmetric nanochannel networks membrane (NCNM) constructed by in situ self-assembled nanoparticles. Ionic current rectification is induced from gradients of ion selectivity in this asymmetric NCNM with homogeneously charged na-noparticles. The proposed system can achieve not only high current without reducing the rectification ratio compared to conventional methods, but also the current can be easily controlled by the flexible microchannel design and the ion transportation can be visualized. © 15CBMS-0001.
