The Sine-square Deformation of the One-dimensional p-wave Topological Superconductor

The sine-square deformation of the lattice model of one-dimensional p-wave topological superconductor is studied focusing on the existence of the zero energy Majorana fermion localized at the ends of the superconductor. The deformation is applied in two distinct ways depending on whether the interaction in the Hamiltonian is defined on the lattice link and/or the lattice site. The zero energy Majorana fermion is found to survive both kinds of the deformations while the overall single particle energy spectrum is substantially modified.
