In this paper, we present an H-band source module in a WR-3 rectangular waveguide. An H-band amplifier and frequency multiplier integrated circuits (ICs) are designed in a 250 nm InP HBT technology. Waveguide-to-microstrip transitions based on dipole antenna are also designed and used to mount the fabricated ICs in the waveguide. The design issues concerned with the waveguide package are also discussed in the paper with the measurement results.
