중국현대문학 연구 40년의 동향과 과제

초록

This article examines the trends and tasks of Korean studies of modern Chinese literature over the past forty years, marking the 40th anniversary of the Korean Association for Modern Chinese Literature in 2025. To this end, it analyzes 1,180 articles published in The Journal of Modern Chinese Literature from its inaugural issue in 1987 to issue no. 110 in 2025, classifying them by period, genre, author, subject, region, and keyword. The analysis shows that early research focused on themes related to China’s modern transformation, such as May Fourth literature, literary history, realism, and revolutionary literature. Since the 1990s, scholarly attention has increasingly expanded to contemporary China and social reality. From the 2000s onward, the field has undergone a full-fledged shift from literary studies to cultural studies, broadening its scope to include film, the city, gender, identity, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The study also confirms that Lu Xun has occupied the most central position in Korean scholarship on modern Chinese literature over the past forty years. It argues that the field now stands at a new turning point amid China’s rise, changes in Korea–China relations, digital transformation, and the spread of AI, and that a corresponding reconstruction of its research questions and methodologies is now required. 本文以2025年韩国中国现代文学学会成立四十周年为契机，考察过去四十年来韩国中国现代文学研究的发展趋势及其课题。为此，本文对发表于《中文现代文学》创刊号（1987）至第110号（2025）的1,180篇论文，从时期、体裁、作家、主题、地域和关键词等方面进行了分类与分析。研究结果表明，早期研究主要聚焦于与中国现代转型相关的议题，如五四文学、文学史、现实主义和革命文学等。自20世纪90年代以来，学界的关注逐渐扩展到当代中国及其社会现实。进入21世纪以后，该领域进一步呈现出由文学研究向文化研究转向的明显趋势，研究范围也扩展至电影、城市、性别、身份认同、香港与台湾等议题。此外，鲁迅研究在过去四十年的韩国中国现代文学研究中始终占据最核心的位置。本文认为，在中国崛起、韩中关系变化、数字化转型以及人工智能扩散的背景下，韩国中国现代文学研究正站在新的转折点上，亟需重构与之相适应的问题意识与研究方法。
