부부 간 대화에 나타난 2인칭 표현의 역동적 사용양상 - 갈등상황과 행동유형을 중심으로 -

초록

This study aims to analyze how secondperson expressions are used in the context of marital conflict byapplying statistical methods and techniques of conversationalanalysis. A close investigation revealed a pattern of usingparticular second person expressions and how they change intoother forms in dynamic discourse. In particular, the choice ofsecond person expressions depends largely on gender of thespeaker and hearer and the severity of conflict. On the basis ofthree types of conflict actions(Han 2014), this study found thatsecond person pronouns may change from regular ones denotingdeference and intimacy to one with non-deference. Furthermore,as the interactions deteriorate, a tendency of changing the formsof non-deference to no use of such forms at all (zero-forms) andfinally into the attention-calling term “ya” which is notconsidered a pronoun or a calling term.
