초록

This article analyzed ‘Pantheistic Imagination' of Guo Mo Ruo. This article consider it not a ‘thought' but an archetype of ‘imagination' of Guo. Guo's pantheistic imagination consist of two levels. One level regards that an existence is a expression of God(Brahman or Dao道). In this concept, an existence is a modus of God, the death of existence is not an end of life but a momentum of rebirth. This rebirth means not a revival of pre-existence but a recovery of divinity of existence. The Other level regards that existence must be united with God (Brahman or Dao道) to recover of divinity of existence. In this concept, God is a absolute truth and a sun, a existence is a one of the positive heliotropism. Probably this ‘Pantheistic Imagination’ of Guo Mo Ruo greatly acted on political life of Guo in PRC.
